Ariana Grande, Josh Gad to Lead Dr. Seuss’ ‘Oh, the Places You’ll Go!’ Animated Movie

Ariana Grande and Josh Gad are set to begin quite a journey.

Warner Bros. Pictures Animation revealed on Tuesday that the duo will headline the voice acting team for Jon M. Chu and Jill Culton’s upcoming animated version of Dr. Seuss’ book, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”. This musical film is slated for a theatrical release in IMAX on March 17, 2028.

Warner Bros.’ animation studio announced on Tuesday that two actors will star in the voice cast of Jon M. Chu and Jill Culton’s animated movie adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ book “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”, which is a musical film planned for release in IMAX theaters on March 17, 2028.

Rob Lieber wrote the script, inspired by Dr. Seuss’ renowned children’s book. Coming from Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Bad Robot, the movie “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” is considered a top priority for the studio. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are composing unique songs for this project, with J.J. Abrams and Gregg Taylor serving as producers from Bad Robot.

The movie focuses on a youthful explorer journeying through the highs and lows of existence. It’s inspired by Dr. Seuss’ final book with the same title, published in 1990. Regrettably, the cherished writer passed away the year after at the age of 87.

Following the triumph of Universal’s Academy Award-winning film adaptation of Wicked, where Grande portrayed Glinda, Chu is now preparing for the second installment of the two-part series that will be released in cinemas in November.
