- Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game brings the Netflix original movie series to the small screen
- Play as four different, customisable classes inspired by the films
- Take on the forces of the Imperium by running, gunning and completing objectives
As a dedicated gamer, I’ve been eagerly awaiting new content in the Rebel Moon franchise. The initial buzz surrounding it was electrifying, but lately, the anticipation seems to have waned somewhat, with fans like me growing increasingly impatient for the trilogy to conclude. However, it appears that Netflix isn’t ready to let go of the Rebel Moon universe just yet. Today, they’ve dropped Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game, which is a welcome boost for us loyal fans, keeping our hopes alive and our controllers firmly in hand!
On the alien world Krypt, you join a band of freedom fighters resisting the tyrannical regime of the Imperium. You’ll choose among four distinct roles, each with unique skills, which you can personalize according to your preferences, whether it’s customizing their appearance or their equipment.
Without a doubt, there are elements reminiscent of the original Helldivers gameplay in Super Evil Megacorp’s spinoff. You’ll find yourself plunging into intense, action-packed missions filled with shooting and running, battling against the Imperium’s forces as you complete various tasks. Plus, you can join forces with up to four other players in cooperative multiplayer mode.
Man on the (Rebel) Moon
While movie tie-ins have a dire reputation even now, SEM’s take on the Rebel Moon universe takes the straightforward approach of making it all action with no slow-mo or flowery dialogue.
It’s just as intriguing to see if the new Helldivers game unconsciously or deliberately mirrors its predecessor, because although the sequel undeniably generates excitement, it’s the isometric shooting gameplay that truly defines the franchise. Moreover, the inclusion of diverse character classes, each reminiscent of film characters, provides an engaging array of playstyles while maintaining a strong connection to the core mechanics.
After enjoying Blood Line, if you find yourself yearning for more shooting action, perhaps you might be interested in exploring other similar games available on mobile platforms? Should that be the case, delve into our collection of top-notch shooter games suitable for both iOS and Android devices!
