In Season 4 of both Black Ops 6 and Warzone, the landscape has been ruled by animated characters. Earlier, we saw a collaboration with Beavis and Butt-Head, and now it’s time for American Dad to step in with a fresh themed event called “CODtoons“.
Unusual collaborations aren’t unusual in the context of Black Ops 6, so it’s just typical to find a character like Stan Smith, a CIA agent, wielding a pickaxe menacingly while dancing in a nightclub – nothing out of the ordinary!

When Does the CODtoons Event Start in Black Ops 6 & Warzone?
The Black Ops 6 & Warzone CODtoons event is slated to kick off on July 17, 2025, marking the end of the King of the Dead Zombie event. As one event wraps up, another usually takes its place as the old ones wind down.
Moving forward, there are no significant updates planned beyond this one, as of now. However, mark your calendars for August 7, 2025, when we’ll be rolling out Season 5. This season will culminate in a grand zombie finale, accompanied by the regular additions to weapons, battle pass, maps, and other exciting content.
All Black Ops 6 & Warzone CODtoons Event Rewards
On their blog, Activision announced that the rewards for the CODtoons event will encompass a specially themed Blueprint for the TR2 CQB Auto weapon, along with two distinct variants of camouflage for this weapon – one regular and another exclusive to BlackCell.
The complete reward list won’t be disclosed until the event starts, however, a trusted data miner and leaker named realityuk_ has already revealed all the rewards.

Although the leaked information has typically been accurate, there may be some minor alterations along the way. Beyond these perks, it’s likely that several themed paid packs will become available during the event, among which is the Stan Smith Operator Bundle.
How to Play the CODtoons Event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone
Unlike previous events such as Rivals, CODtoons operates differently, not relying on experience points (XP) but instead offering various tasks that yield rewards and advancement. The challenges are drawn from Zombies, Multiplayer, and Warzone game modes, allowing you to choose just one according to your preference.
To earn the complete set of camouflage rewards, you need to successfully complete all the preceding tasks, numbering seven in total. Many of these tasks are straightforward; simply modify your equipment setup as you play, and you should accomplish it with time to spare before the event concludes.
