Ragnarok M: Classic Global is now open for pre-registration on Android

  • Ragnarok M: Classic Global is now available for pre-registration
  • A closed beta test is planned ahead of launch for the return of the classic MMORPG
  • No micro-transactions, no gacha and a return of the Ragnarok M you know and love

In essence, it’s been said that reliving your youth directly isn’t possible, but you can revisit many of your significant growth periods through timeless editions. And as for the game Ragnarok M, its classic version is making a comeback, with Gravity Interactive referring to this iteration as their most community-focused Ragnarok game ever.

You can now pre-register for Ragnarok M: Classic Global on Android devices. True to its name, this version brings back the original installment, accessible beyond Southeast Asia for the very first time. Designed with players in mind, it appears to prioritize longtime fans above all else.

Classic Global offers an uncluttered gameplay experience similar to what original fans are accustomed to, as it eliminates micro-transactions, gacha systems, and instead provides free premium and offline rewards. Essentially, this version is a nostalgic reboot that longtime Ragnarok M enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating.

Ragnarok, again

While it’s a bit odd to boast of these changes being player-friendly (you mean it wasn’t in the first place?) I’ve no doubt many of you are glad to finally get your hands on Classic Global. With the old school job system making a return, with all six core classes that can be freely switched between and levelled up to tier three, it’s well worth checking in even if you played Ragnarok M to death back when it first released.

Moreover, I should mention that this is also planned for iOS devices, with a tentative launch date of September 3rd as indicated on the platform. Therefore, you have no reason left to resist the allure of nostalgia now, don’t you?
