Previous visitors of our site may remember when our App Army visited Boxville a while ago. Given their positive experience, it was fitting to return with them for the follow-up, called Boxville 2, to check if the original appeal is still there.
Here’s what they said:

In simpler terms, this game in the series is visually appealing with great animation and unique characters, but it’s quite challenging, even with the hint system. I encountered difficulties even with the initial puzzles, leading to frustration early on. As a result, I turned to YouTube walkthroughs very quickly. The high level of difficulty at the start doesn’t motivate me to continue playing. However, I appreciate the game’s graphics, characters, and puzzle concepts. If you enjoy these games and relish a tough challenge, you’ll likely find it enjoyable. But for me, it’s just too difficult.

As a curious gamer, diving into Boxville 2 is an intriguing journey. This game is all about storytelling without uttering a single word, wrapped up in a hardcore adventure and brain-teasing puzzles. The catch? I’m clueless about the plot at the outset! My mission: to repair the game world, no nudges or clues provided.
The visuals are stunningly hand-drawn, each scene a masterpiece of artistry. Sound effects are minimal, creating an atmosphere that’s both eerie and immersive. However, the touch controls can be a bit tricky as they don’t always land on their intended targets, but that just adds to the challenge!
If you fancy yourself a puzzle enthusiast, this game is a must-play. The satisfaction of solving puzzles and unraveling the mystery piece by piece is second to none. And if you want a sneak peek, there’s an Android demo available for testing. So, grab your device, give it a whirl, and see if Boxville 2 can captivate your gaming spirit!

A straightforward yet charming narrative with a main character reminiscent of the Coca-Cola tin can from The Golden Child movie, boasting an aesthetically pleasing design throughout. This game appears to hark back to the 90s, characterized by its point-and-click mechanics and lack of a built-in hint system – a feature that was common among games from that era. To solve some of the puzzles, players might have called friends or awaited the next issue of a computer games magazine for walkthroughs or cheat codes. However, despite appreciating the challenge level in this game, I find myself desiring an optional hint system to assist with certain puzzles.
At times, having even a slight guidance on how to approach the problem would be beneficial. Accumulating all the searching you do for a mystery to unravel can sometimes deter people. Nonetheless, this game is delightful with numerous mysteries to uncover, and when they finally make sense, it’s quite fulfilling. I truly appreciated playing this game, but I needed to consult a walkthrough for one or two puzzles that left me baffled.

In simpler terms, Boxville 2 is a puzzle game set in an unusual, non-representative universe. Unlike most puzzle games I’m accustomed to, which have narratives and defined objectives, Boxville 2 is more about exploring and discovering the puzzles themselves and how they interconnect.
I appreciate the unique visual aesthetic and find the unusual characters increasingly appealing, despite their minimal dialogue. Navigating aimlessly, clicking on various elements, and figuring out my role becomes challenging at times. Without clear guidance or indicators to show important areas, this task can become rather tiresome.

In Boxville 2, just like its earlier version, it’s a captivating journey through a point-and-click adventure. This time, you assume the role of Red Can, on a mission to save Green Can following an unlucky mishap with a big firework that strands Green Can on a secluded island. By gathering objects and solving riddles, you unlock more items that help you advance in the game.
Visually, the homemade artwork is charming, and the animation quality is impressive. However, the puzzles can be challenging, leaving me baffled on numerous occasions. Additionally, I found the battleship game, which you must win to progress past a sailor, rather frustrating. The game is relatively brief (roughly an hour long), and after finishing it, there’s not much incentive for repeat play. Still, it’s worth checking out.

Refreshing my memory, I played Boxville a couple of years back, and this new installment shares the same charming vibe and playstyle as before. The controls are user-friendly, and the adorable hand-drawn graphics lend a whimsical touch. As a fan of puzzle games, I appreciate that this game focuses on puzzles, but I must confess that I encountered difficulties more often than expected. The design requires frequent transitions between levels to collect items for tasks, which can sometimes lead to confusion and slow down the gaming experience as I searched for solutions. Make no mistake, it’s a tough game, but if you have the perseverance and time, it might just be perfect for you.

In the sequel to Boxville, known as Boxville 2, much of the original’s warmth and appeal persists. Since my initial playthrough, I’ve fondly recalled the visually stunning world created by Triomatica in Boxville. The story unfolds in Boxville 2 much like a captivating picture book without words – through exceptional animations, sound effects, and an enchanting score. This immersive environment brings the dialogue-less characters to life, particularly the one you embody as a red can.
In a bid to save your friend following an unfortunate incident during a fireworks party, you’re embarking on a rescue mission! Although there might be some challenges along the way due to the intricacy of the situation, the reward makes it all worthwhile. I highly recommend sticking with it and remaining persistent as success is just around the corner!

Title two of Boxville showcases an outstanding point-and-click puzzle journey. The game’s graphics and audio are top-notch, as skillfully crafted by Triomatica Games. The puzzles within this game are astounding in their complexity and balance, making it a refreshing change from other games that leave me feeling aggravated and uninterested in finishing them. To sum it up, an exceptional gaming experience that has kept me engaged and eager to continue playing.
