Niantic is expanding its Pokémon Go adventure worldwide through the City Safari event, making a debut in two countries that have not previously hosted a major Pokémon Go gathering. As you prepare for the Gigantamax Lapras Max Battle Day, anticipate discovering city-themed Pokémon during your travels alongside other trainers, enhancing your shared journey!
Here are the five cities where the events will take place: Bangkok (Thailand), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Valencia (Spain), Vancouver (Canada), and Cancún (Mexico). If you find yourself in any of these locations, I strongly recommend attending these real-life get-togethers. That way, you can connect with fellow enthusiasts from your area and share your passion for community building.
As a lucky ticket-holder Trainer, I’ll have the chance to embark on unique Special Research tasks that are exclusively designed. Moreover, during the Eevee Explorers Timed Research and at the start of the City Safari Special Research, you might just bump into an adventurous Eevee donning an explorer hat! And let’s not forget to watch out for Mudbray, the Donkey Pokémon, at City Safari spots as well!
Additionally, during your ticketed day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., you’ll have the opportunity to earn Lure Modules, benefit from Special Trades, and enjoy an increased likelihood of encountering Shiny Pokemon.
