Aamir Khan reacts to Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic post-credit scene in Pathaan: ‘Young actors must be upset’

As a lifelong Bollywood enthusiast and connoisseur of Indian cinema, I must say that the camaraderie between the three Khans – Aamir, Salman, and Shah Rukh – is a sight to behold. Their collective influence on the industry spanning over three decades is truly remarkable.

These three gentlemen – Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan – often referred to as the Khans of Bollywood, have penned a fresh episode in the annals of Bollywood stardom. They embarked on their careers in the early 90s, and ever since then, they’ve produced some of the most successful blockbusters over the past three decades. Remarkably, they continue to shine brightly today. Last year, Salman Khan made a special appearance in Shah Rukh’s movie Pathaan, and their post-credits scene became an internet sensation. Not long ago, Aamir expressed his thoughts on this scene, which many viewers saw as a subtle nod towards the emerging generation of actors.

Aamir Khan recently had an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India alongside his former spouse Kiran Rao. During this chat, he was inquired about his response to the post-credit scene from Pathaan where Shah Rukh Khan’s character converses with Salman and expresses, “It’s up to us, brother; it concerns the nation, we can’t leave it for the kids.” Social media users swiftly perceived this as a reference to the topic of young actors.

In response to the viral video, Aamir Khan (Dangal actor) stated he hadn’t watched the movie yet but caught a clip of the scene on Instagram. He chuckled at it and even acknowledged the people involved, shaking his head in amusement.

Aamir suggested, “I imagine all the young actors were quite disheartened, and it’s tough to criticize Shah Rukh Khan and Salman. What else is there to say?” Kiran responded, “They probably found it amusing.

In the following conversation, he acknowledged that stars such as Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan have persisted in achieving success for three decades or more. Simultaneously, he expressed confusion and humoringly stated that if someone comprehended this, he would be eager to learn from them, as he himself couldn’t manage it a second time.

In a single movie, acting legends Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan have not yet appeared together. They’ve collaborated with each other in different films; for instance, Shah Rukh and Salman teamed up in Karan Arjun and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, while Salman and Aamir shared the screen in Andaz Apna Apna.

In an Instagram live session, it was revealed by the actor of Laal Singh Chaddha that they had talked about potentially collaborating on a movie at some point down the line.
