During an open conversation with YouTuber Samdish Bhatia on his channel Unfiltered by Samdish, Yograj Singh, the father of Yuvraj Singh, expressed his views on child-rearing, emphasizing that a child will become who their father says they will be, suggesting that a father’s impact significantly influences a child’s development.
When the topic of the movie Taare Zameen Par came up, Yograj voiced his disapproval, describing it as “an overly ordinary film,” and stated, “I don’t watch movies like that,” which means he doesn’t enjoy watching films of that kind.
2007’s drama “Taare Zameen Par,” directed by Aamir Khan, narrates the touching tale of 8-year-old Ishaan Awasthi, who grapples with dyslexia. The movie delves into his struggles at school and home, culminating in his enrollment in a boarding school.
In that setting, the character portrayed by Aamir Khan, who is his art teacher, discerns Ishaan’s concealed ability and aids him in reaching new heights. The film underscores the importance of acknowledging and nurturing children’s unique abilities, and it garnered praise for its poignant message.
Tisca Chopra recently posted a heartfelt video on Instagram commemorating the 17th anniversary of the movie. In this clip, she shows two notes to Darsheel Safary: one has suggestions for homemade meals such as lentils, rice, and vegetables; the other offers tempting fast food options like pizza and ice cream.
In an amusing twist, Darsheel, without even glancing, chooses the junk food note, yet unexpectedly finds himself savoring a meal of dal, rice, and vegetables instead. Tisca jokingly quips, “I guess he still can’t read,” referencing Darsheel’s character Ishaan from Taare Zameen Par, who had difficulties reading due to his dyslexia.
