A$AP Ferg Clears the Record on “Thought I Was Dead”

As a lifelong resident of Harlem and a dedicated fan of A$AP Mob, I can confidently say that A$AP Ferg never disappoints. With his latest track “Thought I Was Dead,” he’s once again proven why he’s a force to be reckoned with in the rap game. The Mike WiLL Made-It and Lex Luger production is nothing short of electrifying, and Ferg’s signature energy and East Coast swagger are on full display.

A$AP Ferg is fully focused. Following the release of “Allure” together with Future two weeks ago, Ferg has just shared another compelling track.

Under the title “I Thought I Was Gone,” the Harlem rapper rides the energetic beat produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and Lex Luger, showcasing his larger-than-life presence and the vibe of the East Coast.

Alongside the track, there’s also an eye-catching music video, which was jointly directed by Ferg and Sage English. In this video, the rapper switches between various stylish outfits, such as a pristine, angelic white ensemble in the beginning, and numerous leather garments from his own fashion line, FERG.

Paying tribute to Harlem, Ferg strides into the bodega (sporting his “Harlem Knight” gladiator gloves) and the bustling nighttime streets of Manhattan alongside his companions. In his hands, he displays a pair of white FERG x Nike Air Force 1 Lows, featuring the FERG emblem on the tongue and the phrase “Official Uptown Gear” below it.
