Aashram: Bobby Deol reveals wife Tania Deol’s reaction after he got Baba Nirala’s role; ‘Nahi tu kar, jo tera…’

They recently revealed the long-awaited trailer for Bobby Deol‘s Aashram’s second season of its third installment, titled Ek Badnaam Aashram. Since its premiere in 2020, this series has significantly boosted Bobby’s acting career. Lately, Bobby shared that his wife, Tania Deol, was surprised when he told her about playing Baba Nirala, and she responded by saying, “Don’t just do what others want, do what your heart desires. I support you.

During a chat with Bollywood Hungama, Bobby Deol revealed that before accepting the role, he shared his thoughts with his wife. He confided in her about his intentions to play this particular character, expressing that he had been searching for compelling projects but hadn’t found suitable chances yet.

Recognizing his challenges, his spouse motivated him to listen to his inner voice and promised her steadfast backing.

Bobby shared insights about the effort he invested in getting ready for his part, particularly focusing on mastering the complex dialogue. He disclosed that he put in a lot of work, dedicating three hours every day to tutelage under Guneeta, in order to memorize his lines and grasp the essence of each word.

In a subsequent conversation with Free Press Journal, Deol shared that at first, he hesitated to disclose his decision to his parents and brother, Sunny Deol, for fear of their potential questioning or disapproval.

He confessed that he understood he wouldn’t get conventional hero roles anymore, so he chose to hide the project from his family until they could see it for themselves.

In a subsequent discussion, the animal actor clarified that, given the nature of the Aashram storyline, it’s probable that he would have faced inquiries from his parents and Sunny Deol about why he decided to play this part, had he shared his intentions beforehand.

Under the guidance of Prakash Jha, I’m part of a captivating series where Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumaar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Vikram Kochhar, Tridha Choudhury, Anupriya Goenka, Rajeev Siddhartha, and Esha Gupta gracefully take on significant roles.

The trailer suggests that there are developing fissures in Baba Nirala’s dominion, increasing discord among his confidants, and an audacious return by Pammi. Ek Badnaam Aashram is still one of the most celebrated Indian streaming series, preparing for its next chapter. This new episode will debut on Amazon MX Player on February 27, 2025.
