The drama film “I Want to Talk,” directed by Shoojit Sircar with Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role, has recently been released in cinemas. Notably, veteran actress Shabana Azmi commended Junior Bachchan’s acting in the movie, claiming it to be one of his finest performances in his career.

Previously, on November 28th, Shabana Azmi shared a scene from Abhishek Bachchan’s latest movie, I Want To Talk, on her Instagram. In her review of the film and Abhishek’s acting, she expressed that his performance in director Shoojit Sircar’s movie is arguably his best work throughout his career.

I expressed, “He pours his whole heart into each character without reserve, which is truly captivating. It’s remarkable to witness him overcome an actor’s natural egoism. Well done!

Previously, Abhishek’s dad, Amitabh Bachchan, wrote a powerful post on his blog following the release of their movie. Big B not only reviewed the film but also mentioned that certain movies entice audiences to be entertained, whereas others like “I Want to Talk” compel viewers to ‘become part of the film.’

He stated, “It subtly lifts you out of your theater chair and immerses you within the very screen it’s playing on, allowing you to observe its story unfold as if you were part of it. There’s no need for exertion or an urge to break free from it, as the experience itself is a form of… non-escape.

Proudly patting his son’s back for his outstanding performance in Shoojit Sircar’s movie, Senior Bachchan expressed, “Abhishek… you aren’t just Abhishek anymore, you are ARJUN SEN from the film.” He also delivered a powerful message, saying, “Let people talk as they may, but this is what I believe… this is for the movie.

The movie is inspired by a true-life account, focusing on a cancer survivor NRI, who’s also a close friend of the director Shoojit. The plot revolves around a single father named Arjun Sen, played by Abhishek Bachchan, and his intricate relationship with his daughter Reya, portrayed by Ahilya Bamroo. Johnny Lever, Pearl Dey, and others take on supporting roles in the film.
