Abigail Breslin, Booboo Stewart to Star in Dramedy Movie ‘A Good Fight’ (Exclusive)

Booboo Stewart, Abigail Breslin, and Aaron Kuban will appear in a film centered around an unpredictable job interview.

Robert Rippberger’s drama-comedy movie titled “A Good Fight” has chosen its main cast, according to an exclusive report by The Hollywood Reporter. This independent film boasts a script from Pierce Gardner (known for his work on “Dan in Real Life“) and production from Justin Shaner and Fernando H. Rojas of Sobe Brooke Studios.

A Good Fight” revolves around a prosperous small-town entrepreneur whose encounter with a college reporter ultimately alters their destinies. The film’s atmosphere is reminiscent of “It’s a Wonderful Life“, as the main character embarks on a journey to determine the right course for himself.

Filming for the project starts towards the end of this month. Some parts of it will be filmed at Rippberger’s White Lightning Studios located in North Carolina, while other scenes are scheduled to be shot at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina.

According to Shaner, Abigail and Booboo infuse sincerity, depth, and genuine emotion into everything they perform. This tale skillfully navigates the boundary between humor and heartfelt truth, and we couldn’t have hoped for a more fitting pair to embody that balance.

Rippberger also stated, “It’s a privilege to work alongside Meredith College. This alliance underscores our dedication to fostering strong connections within the local artistic sphere, and providing hands-on educational experiences for budding storytellers.

Recently, Stewart landed a role in the thrilling chess movie “Contra” together with Kal Penn. You might recognize him from his appearances in both the “X-Men” and “Twilight” series of films.

Breslin earned an Oscar nomination for her part in the 2006 film ‘Little Miss Sunshine’. Since then, she has acted in films like ‘Zombieland’, ‘August: Osage County’, and ‘Stillwater’, as well as TV series such as ‘Scream Queens’ and ‘Accused’.
