Actual Source and FreshService Reunite for Second Collection

As a seasoned gamer with an eye for unique, designer apparel, I can’t help but get excited about the latest collaboration between Actual Source and FreshService! With my extensive knowledge of both graphic design and gaming culture, I appreciate the quirky illustrations and typographic callouts that these brands bring to the table.

Actual Source, a Utah-based publisher, bookstore, and creative studio, has partnered with FreshService to launch another collection of merchandise. FreshService, founded by Takayuki Minami who also oversees the Japanese label Graphpaper, is recognized for its high-quality basics and homeware items. Meanwhile, Actual Source has garnered a dedicated fanbase, particularly in the graphic design community, due to collaborations with brands like Nike on projects such as the “No Finish Line” book and A24’s lineup of publications.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the fresh collaboration between Actual Source and FreshService! This union brings together timeless designs with a touch of whimsy. The standout piece is a boxy crewneck sweatshirt, adorned with an amusing illustration of a man in monocle and top hat, delving into a book within a library setting. Two more T-shirts showcase Actual Source prominently, using a bubble and sans serif font for a stylish typographic callout.

In addition to t-shirts and sweaters, you’ll find an assortment of hats, a cozy brown sherpa fleece track jacket with matching pants, and a striped shirt featuring red branding at the left chest. The second collaboration between Actual Source and FreshService will be released online and at their Shibuya store on August 31.
