As a seasoned fashion enthusiast with a penchant for unique and avant-garde designs, I can confidently say that the Y-3 KYASU OVERBOOT has caught my eye like no other. With over two decades of adidas and Yohji Yamamoto’s groundbreaking collaborations under their belt, it’s no surprise that they continue to push boundaries with their innovative creations.
Product Information:
For over two decades, Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto have been collaborating, creating some of the sportswear world’s most distinctive styles. Ranging from the popular tech sneakers like the Y-3 Qasa to uniforms for the Japan Football Association, their collaborative efforts never cease to amaze. With fresh additions coming for Fall/Winter 2024, this dynamic duo is back with the latest introduction – the Y-3 KYASU OVERBOOT.
During Y-3’s FW24 presentation in January, the Y-3 KYASU OVERBOOT was unveiled. This design is based on the Y-3 KYASU sneaker from last year, transformed into a mule and enclosed within a high-cut leather boot-shaped shell. The distinctive design is available in a higher cut for women, featuring a platform sole, a removable mule with a zipper system, and an all-black finish that covers both the mule and the boot. Additionally, co-branding is visible on the boot, with Yamamoto’s signature at the lateral heel and the Three Stripes stretching across the medial side of the boot.
If you’re keen on getting the Y-3 KYASU OVERBOOT in any style, you can grab it immediately from adidas and selected stores, but be quick because several sizes are running low due to high demand. The price is set at $750 USD per pair.
