Initially, I had been drafting an article about the upcoming game Super Farming Boy, which combines action, puzzles, and farming simulation. I mentioned that mobile gaming appears to be a fertile ground for genre experimentation. However, it turns out that today’s strangest release I will discuss is not Super Farming Boy, but rather a musical space adventure starring a cat!
In essence, “Adventures of a Cat in Space” is exactly as its title suggests. Due to a chain of unfortunate events, you find yourself controlling a cat who has found himself stranded in the cosmos. With the help of the ship’s computer, voiced by Arthur Darvill, famous for his role in Doctor Who, you must navigate through the galaxy, discover new alien worlds and solve riddles to make your way back home.
By the way, I should tell you that this is actually a musical! Yes, that’s correct. This engaging adventure for all ages isn’t just about tackling the typical array of puzzles in a point-and-click style, but also gathering an impressive collection of 11 unique songs composed by David Gibb, a renowned children’s musician.

The Space Cat Escapades will debut with a lighter version (it’s been quite some time since we saw these, hasn’t it?), allowing you to experience the opening chapter and familiarize yourself with many fundamental gameplay aspects. While I can’t guarantee its challenge level for your children’s puzzle-solving skills, I have a feeling that many adults will find the humor of this upcoming title quite amusing.
