Gradually, various scripts were created in partnership with multiple producers. Following thorough deliberations, it’s said that Aamir was on the verge of agreeing to be part of the project, working alongside producer Dinesh Vijan.

Ujjwal Nikam significantly contributed to bringing several high-profile cases to justice, including those related to the Bombay Blasts in 1993, the Pramod Mahajan case, the Mumbai Attacks in 2008, and the Gulshan Kumar murder case. He also served as the prosecutor for the Mumbai gang rape case in 2013 and the Kopardi rape and murder case in 2016. For his outstanding work in the legal field, Ujjwal Nikam was bestowed with the Padma Shri award by the Government of India in 2016.
