Greetings and welcome to Ahead of Time Glimpse, a collection where we share exciting details about a game that’s yet to hit the shelves, but you can already experience it at the moment of this publication. Join us as we offer you an early bird opportunity to play games before their official release, whether through Soft Launch, Open Beta, Demos, or other means.

It seems that in the game “Halls of Torment,” despite being self-loving characters, you end up causing harm to yourself due to the continuous cycle of battling unimaginable terrors, dying, and resurrecting to face those horrors once more.

In the style of roguelike games, this Vampire Survivors-like journey through the ominous Death’s Hallway presents a variety of randomly generated abilities to potentially boost your survival chances. Since each playthrough is unique, it creates an engaging cycle that encourages you to keep battling and succumbing repeatedly.

As a fan, I must confess that I’m not particularly fond of enduring unnecessary hardship. However, the thrill Halls of Torment offers, where you feel like a divine being as you unleash lightning upon your enemies one moment and scramble for survival the next, makes me eager to embark on this challenge anew each time I meet my demise.

Each time you die, you can permanently unlock bonuses, such as increasing your abilities or enhancing your gear, ensuring you can withstand the swarm of those annoying low-level skeleton troops for an additional minute at least.

Despite the game’s graphics not being particularly impressive, the captivating gameplay loop, which allows you to unlock new classes over time, makes it immaterial. All I can say is that there are demons to slay, resources to pillage, and haunted halls to traverse, and I am more than eager to step up as a volunteer.

So, how do you play Halls of Torment?
