RoniYuliyanto, a YouTuber, employed Artbreeder, an online AI platform, to transform numerous Attack on Titan characters into lifelike individuals by inputting images from both manga and anime. Multiple depictions of Eren Yeager underwent this process, resulting in renditions that closely resembled the character’s facial structure. Artbreeder effectively recreated Annie Leonhart’s distinctive large nose, a feature praised in both the manga and anime. A Redditor shared, “Annie’s character has greatly assisted me in accepting the uniqueness of my own nose.”

It’s intriguing how some AI-generated images bear a striking resemblance to real-life actors. For instance, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, comes to mind when looking at Reiner Braun. And isn’t it remarkable how Thomas Wagner looks like a blond version of Will Arnett? Among the most noticeable AI lookalikes are Sasha Braus, who shares a strong resemblance with Kristen Stewart, and Mikasa Ackerman, who looks remarkably similar to Japanese actor and model Rena Nounen. YouTube users have been sharing their observations in the comments section, with one individual pointing out the uncanny resemblance between Erwin Smith and Chris Evans.

Hollywood actors might bring Attack on Titan’s characters to life on the big screen, considering Warner Bros. is developing a live-action adaptation of Hajime Isayama’s story. However, no director has officially signed on yet. Andy Muschietti was previously involved but departed in 2023. Fans have suggested potential replacements such as Peter Jackson and Guillermo del Toro.
