As someone who’s been around the fashion block a few times, I must say that AJOBYAJO’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection has truly captured my attention. The inspiration drawn from Chien-Chi Chang’s powerful body of work, “THE CHAIN,” adds an intriguing layer to the pieces.
For the Fall/Winter 2024 season, AJOBYAJO looks to Taiwanese photographer Chien-Chi Chang’s striking series titled “THE CHAIN” as a source of inspiration for their collection.
At a glance, the assorted items seem to coalesce into one coherent image or idea, yet upon closer scrutiny, they reveal their unique narratives. This collection offers two distinct color schemes: a cool maritime-inspired array of blues and grays, alongside a warm earthy selection in beige and brown tones. Each item is infused with an aged, washed effect that lends them a touch of authenticity and charm.
As a gaming enthusiast diving into the world of streetwear fashion, I’m blown away by AJOBYAJO’s unique take on this scene. Their collection effortlessly merges unusual materials with daring designs, creating a lineup that’s both bold and thought-provoking.
The designer highlights the brand’s commitment to defy traditional Seoul fashion norms by presenting daring designs and a distinctive aesthetic. Their bold approach is accentuated even more in the collection catalog, where models with prominent tattoos create a gritty, city-inspired atmosphere. This rebellious essence is emphasized throughout.
The AJOBYAJO FW24 series is set for a rollout in five separate installments, and the initial batch is scheduled to arrive at their online store on August 1st.
