Their playful banter at the premiere of Go Noni Go was not only adorable but also a testament to their strong bond.
For over two decades, Akshay Kumar and his partner Twinkle Khanna have been a couple. In January 2025, they will mark their 24th anniversary as a married pair. They were recently spotted at the premiere of one of Twinkle’s productions, Go Noni Go, during the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024. During the event, Akshay playfully mentioned that his wife Twinkle wouldn’t let him watch her movie and was constantly prodding him for feedback.
During the screening event, Akshay Kumar mentioned that he is looking forward to watching the upcoming movie of his wife, Twinkle Khanna titled Go Noni Go. Akshay admitted that Twinkle’s persistent prodding interfered with his enjoyment of the film, as she was eager to hear his thoughts on her recent production.
…I didn’t get a chance to fully enjoy the movie since my wife was sitting next to me, repeatedly poking me to ask if I liked it. She kept interrupting, so I couldn’t focus on the film. Now, when is the next showing? I’d like to watch it all,” he remarked.
One of the movie’s producers, who happens to be married to Twinkle, the co-producer, announced that he can enjoy watching the film, Go Noni Go, right at home. Akshay added humorously, suggesting the audience feel free to inquire about giving feedback by asking his wife Twinkle, since she’s prone to hitting her elbow when something isn’t quite right.
According to Twinkle Khanna’s narrative, the film “Salaam Noni Appa, Go Noni Go” features Dimple Kapadia, a renowned actress and Twinkle’s mother, in the lead role. Joining her are Manav Kaul, Ayesha Raza, and Athiya Shetty. This movie was showcased at the MAMI (Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image) Mumbai Film Festival on October 23, under the Gala Premiere category.

In terms of his acting career, Akshay Kumar has several upcoming films planned. These movies are “Welcome To The Jungle”, “Skyforce”, “Hera Pheri 3”, “Bhoot Bangla”, “Jolly LLB 3”, and “Housefull 5”. Additionally, he will make a guest appearance in the movie “Singham Again” which stars Ajay Devgn and is expected to release during Diwali this year.
