Alan Cumming Teases Potential Pedro Pascal Fight Scene in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’

Might there potentially be a confrontation between Alan Cumming‘s Nightcrawler and Pedro Pascal’s Mr. Fantastic in the upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday?

As a die-hard gamer, I can’t help but feel excited about the next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Phase Six. Though details are scarce, recent hints dropped by The Traitors host have me speculating about what thrilling action could be in store for us fans!

Yesterday, I was practicing stunts for a fight sequence and I couldn’t help but think, “I’m 60 years old.” You might recall that 23 years ago, I portrayed a superhero in a film. At the time, I was already considered older for the role. Now, here I am, returning to it. To me, this is just absurdly funny. (Said Cumming in an interview with Buzzfeed UK)

He went on to say, “I’m figuring out these fights, and I find myself wondering, ‘Who is it that I’m battling?’ They replied, ‘You’re striking Pedro Pascal on the head,’ or something similar.

Coming back to his role as Nightcrawler in the upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday,” which he first played in 2003’s “X2: X-Men United.” Regarding Pascal, you can expect him to reprise his character of Mister Fantastic following his initial appearance in this summer’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Without providing further details about the supposed fight scene, it’s safe to anticipate some thrilling action in the Russo brothers’ film, given Nightcrawler’s ability to teleport and Mr. Fantastic’s extraordinary elasticity.

The cast of Avengers: Doomsday features Chris Hemsworth playing Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Mackie portraying Captain America, Paul Rudd in the role of Ant-Man, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Danny Ramirez as The Falcon, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Wyatt Russell taking on the role of U.S. Agent, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Lewis Pullman as Bob, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, James Marsden as Cyclops, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, Vanessa Kirby as The Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as The Human Torch, along with many more talented actors.
