Reacher met the Bidens.
An unexpected encounter took place when the cast of ‘Reacher’ found themselves face-to-face with President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, in Philadelphia on a recent Monday. The series lead, Alan Ritchson, shared several photos from this spontaneous meet-and-greet on Instagram today. “It turns out our ‘Reacher’ set crossed paths with these remarkable individuals,” wrote the actor of Amazon Prime Video’s hit show. “I was grateful for and honored by the opportunity to meet the Biden family. They were nothing short of delightful, kind, joyful, gracious, and present.
According to local media reports, it turned out to be a coincidence. The Bidens were spotted walking leisurely around Rittenhouse Square, a city park, following their breakfast at the restaurant Parc. Incidentally, Reacher was said to be filming an episode outside the same location, which is Philly’s interpretation of a popular French bistro situated at 227 S. 18th St.
Hugh E. Dillon, a photographer, shared an extraordinary experience with the local CBS affiliate: he was witnessing the Reacher team film a police chase when unexpectedly, a black SUV arrived at the scene. To his surprise, individuals stepped out who initially appeared to be actors. However, as the entire cast and crew applauded and cheered, it became clear they weren’t. Then someone shouted, ‘We love you, Joe, we love you!’

Photographs depict Ritchson shooting a scene outdoors on the sidewalk surrounded by numerous extras. It seems he took a brief pause from the action to greet the Bidens, as his pictures suggest a lively interaction occurred when he met the ex-president indoors.
In a post to his 4.2 million Instagram followers, Ritchson casually mentioned that he had a quick conversation about complex physics topics such as string theory and quantum entanglement. Afterward, Joe managed to outmuscle him in an arm wrestling match. Just another ordinary day for him, he added.
News has emerged about an unexpected encounter taking place mere five days after Ritchson announced on Instagram that the fourth season of Reacher would be inspired by Lee Child’s book, Gone Tomorrow. As filming is now underway, this literary adaptation will depict Reacher in New York City at midnight, traveling on a subway uptown. When an unknown woman named Susan Mark unexpectedly passes away aboard the train, Reacher becomes determined to uncover the truth behind her death, as his intuition suggests that it was not merely a coincidence.
