Alan Ritchson’s Bruised Look Isn’t for Reacher – Find Out the Surprising Reason!

Fans of Reacher are well aware that Alan Ritchson can handle a good punch; he’s deeply devoted to his acting profession and has proven himself to be quite the action star. This was evident in the latest season of Reacher, which premiered on the 2025 TV lineup. However, it’s not just within the Prime Video series where Ritchson demonstrates his action hero prowess – a recent behind-the-scenes video from the set of his current movie project showcases that as well.

Initially, upon viewing the opening frame of this video, I thought that Ritchson was involved with the series Reacher, considering that Season 4 had been confirmed before Season 3 even aired. However, my assumption turned out to be incorrect. In fact, he mentioned being on the set of the movie Runner. He also expressed his struggle with typing effectively on a computer while maintaining a rough and disheveled appearance.

While there are numerous issues that arise during action filming, “How does one type without splattering blood on the computer?” wasn’t a question I had anticipated. It’s a valid concern indeed, especially for someone like Ritchson who wouldn’t want to ruin his laptop with red stains. Also, considering the work of makeup artists, it would be unfavorable if he smudged or messed up the applied fake blood.

Setting humor aside, I’m convinced that “Fast X” will be extraordinary given the rough appearance of its lead star in this preview clip. Currently, they are filming for “Runner”, as the actor mentioned, and they were on day three when he recorded this video. Therefore, we might not see it released immediately. Yet, I can’t help but feel eager about it.

This high-octane movie is being helmed by Scott Waugh, the director behind “The Expendables 4” and “Need for Speed”. It features Ritchson and Owen Wilson in lead roles. In this film, Ritchson portrays a top-tier courier, while Wilson plays a medical courier. Their mission is to transport an organ that could save a 7-year-old girl’s life, as reported by Variety.

It seems like an exhilarating, humorous journey where the Reacher character, despite his initial resistance, takes on the task of safeguarding Wilson’s character and a valuable shipment.

It seems likely that there will be action on par with Reacher’s style, considering Alan Ritchson’s past performances. He’s consistently given his maximum effort in the action scenes on one of Prime Video’s top-tier shows.

In Season 3 of the show, Ritchson and Olivier Richters as Dutch the bodybuilder took on the much-hyped Reacher vs. Paulie battle. According to the man portraying Paulie, he and his fellow actor found the fight to be the most challenging physically endeavor they’ve experienced to date. In fact, their efforts during the fight were so intense that the actor playing Jack Reacher briefly lost consciousness at one point, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

During the filming of “Reacher“, Alan Ritchson was hurled against a wall more than eight times, leaving him with a sensation that one of his ribs might have been fractured.

After discovering the extensive work involved in producing the series you can stream on Amazon Prime, it’s understandable why I was taken aback when I noticed Ritchson appearing rugged for the Runner, not Reacher. But once that initial surprise passed, my anticipation grew, as I eagerly look forward to witnessing this action hero excel in both these upcoming projects set to release over the next few years.
