As a seasoned gamer with a keen eye for political intrigue and a soft spot for trailblazing women, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about Ali Vitali taking over as host of MSNBC’s Way Too Early. With her extensive experience covering the Trump administration, the midterms, and notable Democratic candidates like Warren, Klobuchar, and Bloomberg, she seems more than qualified to lead this early morning political discussion.
In a recent adjustment following the elections, MSNBC has assigned a new presenter to anchor the precursor of Morning Joe, titled “Way Too Early.
Starting January 6th, Capitol Hill correspondent Ali Vitali is set to assume hosting duties for the morning show “Way Too Early“, while current host Jonathan Lemire will be given an extended role within the 9 a.m. ET hour of “Morning Joe“, broadening his responsibilities there.
Vitali, who started working at NBC News in 2012, initially focused on reporting about the Trump administration from the White House for the digital division of the news company. Later, he moved on to cover the midterm elections and then the presidential campaigns of Senators Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, and Michael Bloomberg during the 2020 Democratic primary race.
The journalist is additionally the writer of the 2022 publication titled “Electable: Why America Hasn’t Elected a Woman to the White House…Yet,” published by HarperCollins.
More to come.
