As a lifestyle expert with an extensive background in the world of Bollywood, I must say that Alia Bhatt’s admiration for Shah Rukh Khan and his iconic Palat scene from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is truly heartwarming. Having had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of Indian cinema myself, I can attest to the profound impact that Khan’s charisma and on-screen presence has left on countless aspiring actors, including Alia Bhatt.

Actress Alia Bhatt, who looks up to Shah Rukh Khan, the reigning king of Bollywood, has openly expressed her admiration for him. In a recent interview, she shared that one of her favorite moments from his films is the iconic “Palat” scene with Kajol in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, which gives her feelings of excitement and awe. Alia confessed that every girl dreams of experiencing such a romantic moment in their own lives.

In a conversation with Allure magazine, actress Alia Bhatt mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan is the individual who instantly springs to mind when considering Indian cinema. She further stated that this sentiment likely resonates with numerous others. Delving deeper into the topic, she recounted and expressed her feelings about the iconic Palat scene from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) involving Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Alia described the moment as follows: “Then he waits for her to turn, ‘Palat’, and all of a sudden, on cue, she does, and the music builds up intensely, creating a mix of butterflies, goosebumps, and an indescribable feeling.

Alia continued, “I believe every woman has dreamed of such an experience in life where a man gazes at you or is patiently waiting for your gaze.” Alia then emphasized that in her eyes, everything about SRK represents ‘love’ and the Palat scene embodied love for her.

In the 2016 movie “Dear Zindagi,” Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan teamed up on screen for a heartfelt tale about life. Soon, Shah Rukh Khan will begin filming his upcoming movie titled King. Notably, this will mark his first collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan, as they join forces under the direction of Sujoy Ghosh.
