Back in 2022, Empire reported that Amazon purchased a 50-hour series, suggesting that the show could run for around five seasons. In this project, co-showrunner JD Payne stated that it has a defined start, progression, and conclusion, which was how they presented it.
Regarding the question about a “50-episode series,” Salke affirmed their intention to complete it, stating that the streaming platform intends to follow through on its plan.
I strongly believe that the commitment isn’t what primarily fuels our actions.
