As someone who has grown up admiring the glamour and drama of Bollywood, I’ve always looked up to power couples like Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Their on-screen chemistry was mesmerizing, and their off-screen bond, though not openly displayed, has always been a topic of interest.
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are often admired as a dynamic screen duo, having collaborated in seven movies such as Dhoom 2, Guru, Kuch Naa Kaho among others. Lately, Nikhil Dwivedi, who has worked with them on multiple projects like Mani Ratnam’s Raavan, shared that during film shoots, they maintained a professional demeanor towards each other.
During speculations about the potential divorce of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya, Nikhil Dwivedi, an actor-producer, discussed their relationship during a chat with Filmygyan. Nikhil has been acquainted with the pair for quite some time and enjoys a close friendship with the star of ‘Dasvi’.
In response to a question about their on-set dynamics, the actor explained, “A married couple naturally stays together, and we never observed them apart.” This behavior, he added, was simply a reflection of their relationship, which in no way affected their professional commitments.
Speaking passionately as an ardent fan, let me clarify something straight away: there was absolutely no hint of unprofessionalism from them in our conversation. In fact, they were nothing short of supremely professional. To put it simply, if anyone suggested they were any less than that, I’d wholeheartedly disagree. They were a picture of professionalism personified, and yes, they were a pair to be reckoned with!
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are renowned Bollywood actors who tied the knot on April 20, 2007. Their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, was born on November 16, 2011. Over the past seventeen years of their marriage, neither of them has issued a formal announcement regarding any split in their relationship.
In terms of his professional endeavors, Abhishek Bachchan will make his next appearance in the film titled “I Want to Talk,” directed by Shoojit Sircar. This project features Banita Sandhu and Johny Lever as co-stars. The movie is scheduled for release on November 22, 2024. Previews of the film have already been unveiled and garnered a favorable response from viewers.
Apart from that, he’s set to appear in Housefull 5 alongside Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, with more details to come. On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was recently featured in Ponniyin Selvan: II, and as of now, she hasn’t disclosed any upcoming projects.
