After wrapping up an action-packed late 2024 filled with YouTube videos, sneaker launches, and my first-ever music festival titled “The Best Day Ever”, I dropped a fresh tune called “Familiar” that’s barely two minutes long.
The artist confided that they were holding on to someone they cared for deeply, even though they knew it wasn’t the best choice, yet it was challenging for them to move on. They provided additional insights into the song’s origins in a press release. “I allowed a hint of my self-destructive nature to seep into the track,” they admitted, “but I believe truthfulness is crucial.
It’s difficult for me to envision you with anyone else. If it ever comes to pass, it would be something I couldn’t endure. Making decisions about such matters is challenging for me.” He expresses this struggle in the first verse.
