For many generations, Amitabh Bachchan has been a staple on their television screens. Despite spending over four decades entertaining audiences, he continues to appear in front of the camera and greet fans every Sunday outside his Mumbai residence, Jalsa. However, it’s regrettable that the reigning monarch of Bollywood is now grappling with health issues related to aging.
On February 28, 2025, in a blog post titled ‘6222’, the actor Paa discussed numerous professional meetings and the challenging decision-making process regarding which projects to accept and which to respectfully decline. Despite his long-standing industry experience, he continues to grapple with concerns about whether he’s able to uphold justice when faced with opportunities that come his way.
When discussing the challenges of aging, Senior Bachchan said, “It’s not just about remembering lines as you get older, it’s also dealing with various age-related issues that need to be managed in order to perform as required.” It isn’t until he gets home that he becomes aware of “the numerous mistakes made and how to correct them.
After that, he rings up the director in the dead of night, requesting another opportunity to rectify or amend his mistakes. The A-list Bollywood actor went on to discuss the constant anxiety about the numerous tasks left undone for days. Yet, even for him, tomorrow often seems elusive. However, he must establish order and take the time to kneel down, straighten up and complete the work at hand.
Currently, on the professional side, Amitabh Bachchan has been engrossed with his hosting duties for the current season of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” (Kaun Banega Crorepati). Moreover, he is set to act alongside Ranbir Kapoor in an upcoming production based on the epic tale of Ramayana.
