The actress from ‘Call Me Bae’ admitted that attempting to mimic and portray Bhidu was challenging, requiring her to extensively watch his videos in order to master his distinctive speaking style for the commercial.

During a chat with News18, Ananya Panday shared her affection for working alongside Jackie Shroff and his kin. She previously teamed up with Tiger Shroff on a project, and has also featured in an ad with his sibling, Krishna Shroff.

Working with Jackie Shroff was like a dream realized for her, emphasizing his captivating charm, not just in front of the camera but also behind it. Ananya spoke about their time together as full of lively discussions and cultural references from the world of pop culture.

In a candid disclosure, she shared how she observed Jackie’s distinctive gestures and strove to adopt his unique style. However, she found it difficult, acknowledging that he seemed to depict her character more convincingly than she managed. Looking back on the experience, she jokingly confessed that emulating his famous “bhidu” persona was not a simple feat.

Currently, Ananya Panday is actively working on projects. Most recently, she appeared in Vikramaditya Motwane’s screenlife thriller movie alongside Vihaan Samat. This year marked her debut in web series with ‘Call Me Bae’, and at present, she’s filming for the second season of this series.

In the future, Panday will appear in a movie titled “Chand Mera Dil,” produced by Dharma Productions. She’ll be acting alongside actor Lakshya in this film. The makers recently released the first poster of the movie, sparking excitement among fans. Furthermore, she is involved in an unnamed Dharma Productions project with Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan. This film, based on the life of C. Sankaran Nair, is slated for release on March 14, 2025.
