Fans have followed Ananya Panday’s career journey in the Hindi film industry since her debut. Once a target of trolls, she won hearts when she humorously addressed a viral moment with Siddhant Chaturvedi in the web series, Call Me Bae. Lately, the actress shared that she shifted her approach to social media, using it constructively instead of being weighed down by its pressures.
In a recent conversation with Forbes, Ananya Panday discussed an instance that drew significant attention when she commented alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi about the challenges faced by star kids, to which he replied, “Where our dreams conclude, their struggles commence.” This exchange rapidly spread and resulted in extensive online criticism for the actress from the show Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.
Instead of letting it weigh her down, the 26-year-old seized the opportunity and turned the viral incident into humor within Call Me Bae. She shared that she now sees social media criticism as a tool to benefit herself, rather than a burden.
She shared that as she’s observed, granting excessive control to social media can actually weigh heavily on an individual. To counteract this, her current strategy is to figure out how to leverage social media effectively rather than letting it dominate. She also made it clear that she doesn’t let the weight of its significance overwhelm her.
As an ardent admirer, I must say, I’ve always been open about my privileged start in Bollywood, a fact that’s often linked with the term nepotism. Yet, instead of shying away from this association, I’ve chosen to honor it by taking immense pride in my lineage and my father Chunky Panday’s remarkable contributions to Hindi cinema.
In terms of acting projects, Ananya Panday is set to appear in a movie yet to be named, alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan. Additionally, she will work on the film “Chand Mera Dil,” where she shares the screen with Lakshya.
