Ananya Panday says she has pictures of Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor in her vanity van; calls herself ‘biggest’ Alia Bhatt fan

It’s well-known that Ananya Panday harbors a deep affection for Bollywood, dating back to her childhood years when she aspired to become an actress, modeling her dreams after prominent figures in B-town such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Salman Khan, and Karisma Kapoor. To this day, images of these celebrities adorn the walls of her dressing room. Furthermore, during a recent interview, Ananya openly admitted to being an ardent admirer of Alia Bhatt.

In a conversation with Mid-Day, Ananya Panday shared that there’s a picture of Karisma Kapoor on the mirror in her dressing room. She also mentioned that she has images of Salman Khan and an iconic quote from Kareena Kapoor Khan’s film Jab We Met, “Main Apni Favourite Hoon”, adorning her space as well.

When discussing her affection for the entertainment world, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actress Ananya enthusiastically complimented Alia Bhatt. She shared that when people would inquire about her educational background by asking ‘Which college did you attend?’, she would proudly respond, “I attended St. Teresa’s, as portrayed in Student of the Year 2.” Expressing her admiration, she admitted, “Being a student at the same school as Alia Bhatt is a significant point of pride for me.

In simpler terms, Ananya mentioned that Alia Bhatt, who won a National Award, resembles someone who overachieves and started at an early age compared to most. Looking back, she remembered attending the premiere of Student Of The Year when she was almost 14 years old. Since there were no seats in the theater, she had to sit on the floor. She reminisced about seeing Alia Bhatt on screen as Shanaya and wanting to be just like her. Furthermore, Ananya revealed that Alia isn’t shy about acknowledging when she’s wrong or has made mistakes.

In a similar vein, Gehraiyaan’s fame disclosed that at every birthday party, she would don costumes reminiscent of Bebo and perform the hook steps for each song without being asked. Her explanation was that it stemmed from having a video camera available during her childhood, which allowed her to see herself. She also mentioned that her desire to act and be in front of the camera had been present since her youth; it was simply what she knew.
