As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for Bollywood and its intricacies, I must say that Ananya Panday’s approach to her craft is truly inspiring. Her eagerness to experiment and her fondness for creating connections within the industry is evident in her willingness to take on cameo roles.
Ananya Panday has been keeping herself occupied with various movies, TV shows, brand endorsements, among other tasks. Despite her numerous work obligations, she’s also made special appearances – first in the song “Heart Throb” for Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and more recently in Vicky Kaushal’s movie, Bad Newz.
During an interview, a magazine asked the actress if she enjoys doing cameos or if she does them to strengthen relationships with other actors and movie professionals. In response, the actress from Gehraiyaan shared, “I truly enjoy it.” Later, Ananya Panday explained to Bollywood Hungama that there’s a certain part of her that is drawn to these types of opportunities.
Mentioning her experience while watching Salman Khan in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, the actress from Student of the Year 2 expressed that she felt thrilled whenever new actors appeared during film productions. She reminisced about various A-list Bollywood celebrities who shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in the song “Deewangi Deewangi” from Farah Khan’s movie, Om Shanti Om.
“Karan often includes Rani Mukerji and Kajol in his films, making it a delight for us,” she shared. From the perspective of moviegoers, Panday added, when we see our favorite actors on screen while enjoying popcorn at the theater, it’s like saying ‘Here is my beloved star.’ This thrilling experience motivates her to make guest appearances in films.
In the same conversation, Ananya Panday, Chunky Panday’s daughter, expressed her desire to delve into horror or horror-comedy films. She mentioned that the 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa, directed by Priyadarshan, is her favorite and still manages to give her a fright. She further shared, “I’d like to stare at myself in the mirror and feel scared. I want to try something utterly distinct.”
On the professional side, Ananya Panday is getting ready for the premiere of her movie CTRL on Netflix, scheduled for October 4, 2024. Simultaneously, she’s deep into filming her upcoming project titled Shankara. Additionally, you can catch her in a web series named Call Me Bae as well.
