As a dedicated follower of Bollywood and a passionate student of cinema history, I must say that Angry Young Men: The Salim-Javed Story is nothing short of a masterpiece. Having grown up watching the iconic films penned by this legendary duo, it was an enlightening journey to witness their struggles, triumphs, and camaraderie in this documentary.
On August 20, 2024, the long-awaited docu-series titled “Angry Young Men: The Salim-Javed Story” was unveiled. This series chronicles the remarkable career of the legendary screenwriting duo, Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar. While it has garnered a great deal of acclaim from online users, Bollywood celebrities have also expressed their admiration for the program. Varun Dhawan, in particular, lauded the documentary as exceptional and labeled it as the “best thing out there.”

Currently, Varun Dhawan is excited about an upcoming slate of films. Most recently, he made a special appearance in the horror comedy Stree 2 alongside Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. The audience adored his portrayal of Bhediya in this film.
In an upcoming action-thriller titled “Baby John,” Varun will make his appearance. This film is under the direction of A. Kaleeswaran and produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande. The movie is set to hit theaters during Christmas season 2024.
In addition to Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan has joined the cast of the war film “Border 2”. According to an exclusive source speaking to TopMob, “Border 2 is shaping up to be one of the largest productions in Indian Cinema. The team is making it even more impressive by adding Varun Dhawan to the storyline alongside Sunny Deol.”
Beyond that, I’ll be featuring in the romantic comedy “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Additionally, I’m looking forward to Anees Bazmee’s “No Entry 2,” and a comedy project with my father, David Dhawan, both of which are currently in development.
