For two days now, the Arora family has been grappling with the loss of their patriarch, Anil Mehta, who passed away outside his building in Bandra. In the wake of this heartbreaking event, they have been working through their grief. A day following his unexpected death, Malaika Arora and her sister Amrita paid their respects at their late father’s funeral. Malaika’s former husband, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, was one of the first to visit the Arora residence after Mehta’s passing. On September 13th (Friday), Arbaaz extended his condolences by attending a prayer meet for Malaika’s deceased father.
In an Instagram video, Arbaaz Khan is shown making a visit to Malaika Arora’s mother’s home during a nighttime prayer gathering. The footage captures him exiting his vehicle and heading into the building in the rain, located in Bandra.

For those not already familiar, Arbaaz Khan was one of the first to visit Malaika Arora’s mother’s residence following the sad news of her father, Anil Mehta, passing away on September 11, 2024. On that Wednesday, Arbaaz and his entire family paid their respects to Malaika’s late father. The day after, Salman Khan stopped by Malaika’s mother’s apartment in Bandra to express his sincere condolences.
In the wake of his grandfather’s passing, Arhaan Khan, son of Arbaaz and Malaika, stayed by her side during this difficult time. Over the past two days, Arhaan has been frequently visiting the building following his granddad’s death. Various family members, including Sohail Khan, Seema Sajdeh, Salim Khan, Helen, Alvira Agnihotri, Ayaan Agnihotri, and Alizeh Agnihotri, have offered their condolences. Arbaaz’s second wife, Sshura Khan, was also seen there, extending her sympathies as well.
Besides her, Malaika Arora’s close friends Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor have been standing by her during tough times. It has been reported that Kareena has delayed her work engagements following the incident. Previously dating Arjun Kapoor, he was seen visiting her mother’s home and assisting Malaika to her car safely.
