Anna Williams Blasts Her Way to Tekken 8, is Now Available

In its second year, Tekken 8 is set to release another DLC Fighters Pass to maintain the game’s excitement. The first character confirmed for this new pass is none other than fan-favorite Anna Williams. For those who have always rooted for Anna over Nina, their eternal sibling rivalry can now continue in the game as she joins the roster.

Currently known as the “Crimson Thunderbolt,” Anna Williams is persistently pursuing her quest for vengeance against her sister Nina. In case you missed it, in the previous game, Nina was responsible for the death of Anna’s fiancé, and to add further insult to injury, she donned a wedding gown costume. It’s evident that Anna has a righteous anger towards her sister, and supporters can join her in seeking retribution.

In previous games, fans will recognize Anna’s fighting style due to her swift attacks and throws. Now, she carries a rocket launcher that adds an extra layer of menace to her appearance. This new weapon also allows for powerful explosive strikes, giving her a unique edge over other characters. (Wink wink)

In Tekken 8, players can either purchase Anna individually, or opt for the Season 2 Character Pass, which grants access to all characters in the pass. At present, details about additional characters in the second DLC pass are yet to be disclosed, but this information is likely to be shared soon. The developers seem to be adopting a similar strategy to Season 1, where Eddy Gordo was unveiled as the first character.

Enthusiasts have been buzzing about Tekken 8 lately due to some adjustments in balance which have distorted the game’s competitive landscape, making certain characters either overpowered or underpowered. Moreover, Bandai Namco has intensified its focus on microtransactions by launching a store that offers classic costumes. However, this store exclusively deals with real money, meaning fans will need to spend extra cash if they desire iconic outfits for their preferred combatants.

I’m hoping that the developers at Bandai Namco can sort things out and make the necessary adjustments. In theory, Tekken 8 offers a wealth of content, making it an excellent choice for a fighting game.
