This film’s achievement broke the record previously held by a comedy or musical production, surpassing last year’s “Barbie” with its nine nominations. In a thrilling turn of events, my movie was named the best motion picture – musical or comedy, and also the best non-English language film. Our talented actress Zoe Saldaña walked away with the best supporting actress award for her exceptional performance. To top it all off, our song “El Mal” clinched the victory for best original song.
