Anthony Mackie Absolutely Roasted His MCU Buddy Tom Holland About His Height, And LOL

As a long-time Marvel fan and observer of the camaraderie between these extraordinary actors, I find the playful banter between Anthony Mackie and Tom Holland utterly delightful. It’s like watching two childhood friends tease each other, but with superhero costumes!

Since 2017, Anthony Mackie has been teasing Tom Holland, who starred in his first Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) solo movie, “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Picture Mackie as the winged MCU big brother, constantly giving his Spidey sibling lighthearted jabs. In their latest playful exchange, Mackie playfully mocked Holland’s height, creating a hilarious moment that had everyone laughing out loud (LOL).

Tom Holland, known for starring in standalone ‘Spider-Man’ films like the ‘Home’ trilogy, couldn’t resist taking a playful dig at his MCU buddy Anthony Mackie for missing out on a Falcon film, after Mackie admitted he hadn’t watched ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’. This friendly banter dates back to six years ago, but Holland clearly hasn’t let it slip his mind. During the San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios’ Instagram video captured Mackie’s witty comeback to Holland’s joke about Falcon not having a movie of his own.

As a longtime fan of Marvel movies and having closely followed the careers of Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie, I must say that it is interesting to note the height difference between these two talented actors who portray our beloved characters Spider-Man and Falcon respectively. While it’s true that Anthony Mackie towers over Tom Holland at 5’11 compared to Holland’s 5’8, this fact may not be as significant in the grand scheme of things.

Tom Holland, the youthful star from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, isn’t ignorant about his height contrasting with his co-stars who are taller. During a light-hearted conversation, he playfully pointed out that Mark Wahlberg, his co-star in Uncharted, is 5’9, while he himself is 5’8. Despite numerous short celebrities such as Kevin Hart, Michael J. Fox, and Tom Cruise proving that being tall isn’t a requirement to be considered a leading man.

Following all the teasing by Tom Holland about Anthony Mackie’s lack of a solo Falcon film, it seems that fate might have the last laugh. Indeed, Falcon is finally stepping up and taking on the mantle as the new Captain America in “Captain America: Brave New World.” This was evident from the exclusive footage presented at CinemaCon, stirring excitement among MCU fans about what’s to come.

Preparing for his upcoming Marvel movie, Anthony Mackie is likely to escalate his rivalry with Tom Holland when they both attend the premiere next year. It might even reach a point where Mackie intentionally sits next to him in the theater, which could lead to some triumphant displays from Mackie during the event. I won’t be shocked if Mackie takes the opportunity to gloat a bit on that memorable night.

In a playful jibe, Tom Holland teased Anthony Mackie about not having his own Falcon spin-off film. Mackie retorted humorously, highlighting that he stands taller than Holland at 5 feet 11 inches. As Mackie is set to take on the role of Captain America, their amusing rivalry is expected to escalate once Holland’s response to “Brave New World” is revealed. The much-anticipated release of Falcon’s solo movie, scheduled for 2025, will hit theaters on Valentine’s Day.
