In the opening scene, we find some familiar faces from the original cast gathered at a table in a restaurant, including Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, and Jeremy Swift as Leslie Heggins. They share warm glances with each other. The official synopsis for Season 4 reveals that Ted is back in Richmond, ready to confront his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s soccer team. Throughout the season, both Ted and the team will embrace the spirit of taking chances they never thought possible – learning to jump before they look.
In addition, Brett Goldstein (as Roy Kent) and Brendan Hunt (as Coach Beard) will once again grace our screens from the past seasons. Joining them are newcomers Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely. Notably, Grant Feely assumes the role of Ted’s son Henry; details about the roles of the other new cast members are yet to be shared. The return of Phil Dunster as Jamie Tartt and Nick Mohammed as Nate Shelley from AFC Richmond was not explicitly mentioned.
