Are The Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Actors Together In Real Life?

Montana Jordan and Emily Osment play the main characters who are newlywed sweethearts in the show titled “Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage.” They share a strong on-screen connection, leading to their characters from “Young Sheldon” receiving a spin-off series. Fans hope they’ll remain together, despite speculation from “The Big Bang Theory” that their marriage won’t last. However, in reality, Montana Jordan and Emily Osment are not romantically involved; they have never dated each other.

As a devoted Texan myself, I’m delighted to share that I, Jordan, am in a beautiful relationship with my high school sweetheart, Jenna Weeks. Our journey began back in November 2021, and we’ve chosen to keep most of our relationship under wraps. Occasionally, we’ve offered glimpses into our romance through select social media posts. However, we decided to share a bit more about our life together in January 2024, revealing the exciting news that we were expecting a baby! Our precious daughter, Emma Rae Jordan, was born in May. A sweet tribute to my on-screen sister Raegan Revord, who plays Missy Cooper, is her middle name, Rae.

In June 2023, Jordan’s TV spouse, Evan Rachel Wood, announced her engagement to musician Jack Anthony on Instagram with a heartfelt post. “I am so proud of the life we have created and the people we have grown into over the past few years. This love is extraordinary and ours alone, I know it can conquer anything. I am so grateful to be at your side every day. I love you, Jack,” she wrote. The couple quietly got married in October 2024, as reported by People.

Emily Osment was worried about her age gap with Montana Jordan

In the television series “Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage,” which debuted in September 2024, Jordan portrayed Georgie who was 21, while Osment played Mandy at 32. Interestingly, their real-life age difference of 12 years mirrors their characters’ onscreen relationship. However, it’s worth noting that they began collaborating on “Young Sheldon” over two years prior to the series premiere. During this time, Jordan’s character Georgie was only 17, and he falsified his age to 21 in an attempt to win Mandy’s affection. Later, he admitted the deception.

As a gamer, when I first started working with Jordan, I had a bit of a concern regarding our age gap off-screen. To be sure, I made it a point to double-check his age multiple times around the set before we filmed any romantic scenes together. I remember asking at least five people if he was indeed 18 years old since he looked so youthful. At that time, I was either 29 or 30, and Jordan was just 18 – a new experience for me because usually, it’s the opposite situation where I’m wondering about the age of my co-stars! It was definitely refreshing.

They became good friends and Osment even helped Jordan propose

Despite the difference in our ages, Georgie and I are making our bond thrive. On-set, age doesn’t seem to matter much between Montana Jordan and Emily Osment, as their friendship has grown steadily stronger over nearly four years of collaborating.

It’s worth noting that the duo have grown incredibly close, to the extent that Osment assisted his on-screen spouse in planning his real-life proposal to his longtime girlfriend, Jenna Weeks. In January 2025, they made their engagement official by sharing a heartfelt Instagram post. The post detailed that Jordan had proposed in a field adorned with rose petals, and he added an extra touch by arranging large neon lights that spelled out “Marry Me” as the backdrop.

In Jordan’s own words to Us Weekly, it was Emily who connected them to the jewelry artisan responsible for crafting Jordan’s engagement ring. Jordan shared that he got Emily’s number and subsequently reached out to her, leading to the creation of his fiancée’s ring. Jordan acknowledged that Emily played a small part in the process of organizing the engagement ring.
