Arnold Schwarzenegger Endorses Kamala Harris and Tim Walz: “I Will Always Be an American Before I Am a Republican”

As a gamer who has spent countless hours navigating the virtual landscapes of diverse worlds and political systems, I can relate to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s frustration with real-life politics. Having played characters that have fought against tyranny and corrupt governments, it’s disheartening to see similar issues plaguing our own society.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has announced that he will back both Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the upcoming presidential election, which takes place next week.

On Wednesday morning, the well-known former Governor of California, known for his Republican leanings, used X to publish a detailed message expressing his support for a candidate in the crucial upcoming election.

To begin with, Schwarzenegger expressed his dislike for politics and his reluctance to endorse candidates during elections. He mentioned that he isn’t particularly fond of either political party at the moment, but due to current circumstances, he finds it impossible to remain indifferent.

He criticized Donald Trump’s unwillingness to acknowledge his defeat in the 2020 election, stating that such an action is as antithetical to American values as one can get. As someone who communicates with people worldwide and remains deeply connected to America, he finds it incredibly unpatriotic and infuriating to hear America being called a rubbish bin by those who claim it as the world’s beacon.

He went on to say, “I place being an American above my party affiliation, which is why this week I’m casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. I wanted to let everyone know because I believe many of you share similar feelings. You feel that our nation has strayed from its course, and rightfully so, you should be angry.

Over time, the actor has pointed out discussions on various issues such as managing the national debt, border control and immigration reform to mend our flawed system, yet those in power seem unresponsive. The predicaments persist, he noted, causing people’s frustration to grow, as it appears that politicians are only profiting from these debates during elections rather than addressing matters that could genuinely improve Americans’ lives.

To some, it’s just a game. However, for my fellow Americans, it’s a matter of life. We should be angry,” Schwarzenegger expressed. But a candidate who doesn’t value your vote unless it’s for him, a candidate who encourages his supporters to attack the Capitol while he spectates with a Diet Coke, a candidate who lacks the capacity to pass policies beyond tax cuts benefiting his donors and wealthy individuals like myself but offering no help to others, a candidate who considers Americans who oppose him as greater threats than China, Russia, or North Korea – such a candidate won’t address our issues.

He went on, criticizing Trump and pointing out that another term for him would mean “four more years of empty rhetoric without any real accomplishments, leaving us increasingly angry, divided, and filled with hate. It’s time to shut the book on this part of American history, and I am confident that ex-President Trump is not capable of doing that.

The star of “Terminator” emphasized that a second term for President Trump would give the convicted criminal opportunities to act in ways that are even more unpatriotic than he has so far, and this is why he decided to announce his vote openly.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m all about leveling up, and in this political landscape, it seems like progressing forward as a nation requires teamwork. Although there are quite a few areas where I differ with their policies, I firmly believe that working alongside Harris and Walz is the key to achieving our shared objectives.
