As a gamer, I can’t wait to immerse myself in the vibrant world of “5 Cheers!” at Seoul Light Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) this year-end. This media art showcase, featuring artists like Jean Jullien, Sunwoo Kim, Recording Life, Joguman Studio, and JE BAAK, promises to fill the building with powerful messages of hope and connection. It’s a beautiful goodbye to the old year and a joyful welcome to the new, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
The 222-meter exterior of the structure designed by Zaha Hadid comes alive, blending art and technology in a dynamic performance. Visitors are encouraged to delve into five distinct realms – Choir, Play, Magic Show, Claymation, and Performances – each adding its unique touch to a larger story that encompasses unity and dreams.
Starting today and running up until December 31st, I’m super pumped to share some amazing gaming experiences with you every evening from 7 pm to 9:30 pm! These sessions will last for approximately 18 minutes each, happening every half hour. The excitement builds up as we approach New Year’s Eve, where we’ll have an incredible fireworks and laser show at midnight! To top it off, we’ve got performances lined up by none other than Glen Check and Balming Tiger to ring in the new year! So, grab your controllers, folks, let’s game together until the clock strikes 12!
