As an ardent follower of Bollywood, I’ve been captivated by the heartwarming camaraderie shared by Sara Ali Khan and her stepmother, Kareena Kapoor Khan. Their bond, which transcends the boundaries of family ties, is truly inspiring.
Sara Ali Khan is currently very popular in the Bollywood acting world. This young star, who recently celebrated her father Saif Ali Khan’s birthday, enjoys a close relationship with her stepmother and actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan. In the past, Sara has shared how she refers to Kareena and admitted that she was perplexed about their relationship initially.
During an interview on Koffee With Karan hosted by Karan Johar, Sara Ali Khan discussed her relationship with Kareena Kapoor Khan. When the topic of Saif Ali Khan ever asking her to call Kareena ‘Chhoti Maa’ was brought up as a joke, Sara said that Kareena would likely have a panic attack if she were to do so. She also mentioned that Kareena would probably respond with surprise and disbelief, saying something like “What? No!”
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must share an amusing anecdote from the world of Bollywood. The charming actress, Sara Ali Khan, confessed that she was at a loss when it came to addressing Kareena Kapoor Khan. She recounted her thoughts, saying, “I found myself wondering, ‘Should I call her Kareena or Aunty?'” However, her father, the suave Saif Ali Khan, wisely advised against referring to Kareena as ‘Aunty.’ Laughing heartily about their conversation, Sara concluded that she affectionately calls Kareena either ‘K’ or simply ‘Kareena.’
In the upcoming Metro release, Dino showcases Sara Ali Khan alongside her mother Amrita Singh, who dressed her for her father’s second wedding with Kareena Kapoor. The actress clarified that it was never uncomfortable for her mother in this situation, and she stated that Kareena herself emphasized their friendship. Sara explained that Bebo had said to her, “You have a wonderful mother. My wish is for us to be friends.”
For those not familiar, Sara Ali Khan is Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter. They split up in 2004 after 13 years together. Later, Saif married Kareena Kapoor in 2012. Despite the family evolving, Sara has always felt close to her father. In an interview with Filmfare, the actor mentioned that his father has always been reachable, whether it’s for a dinner or a cup of coffee.
In her professional endeavors, Sara Ali Khan will make her next appearance in Anurag Basu’s film titled “Metro…”, alongside co-stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Dino, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, and other talented actors.
