In a refreshing twist for “Survivor,” the so-called New Era has introduced numerous modifications. One of the persistently noticeable alterations is the format of the initial episodes’ premise. Since Season 41, Jeff Probst has presented each tribe with a marooning challenge to win their essential camp supplies. The defeated tribes must then opt for either raw strength in a demanding physical labor task (Sweat) or mental acuity in a brain-teasing puzzle (Savvy), to earn their supplies. While fans generally appreciate this recurring choice, “Survivor” wouldn’t be the show it is without introducing some unexpected changes along the way.

Hooray! The renowned actor Al Pacino is teaming up with Dan Stevens (known for his role as Abigail) to drive out some demons in the upcoming movie, “The Ritual,” scheduled for release in 2025 after being acquired by XYZ Films last week. Directed by David Midell (famous for “The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain”), the film portrays the true account of Emma Schmidt, a woman who was believed to have been possessed by demons for decades before undergoing a four-month exorcism in 1928.
