Autogun Heroes to stay on mobile, will be published by Nitro Games

  • Autogun Heroes is…staying on mobile!
  • Nitro Games have now taken over publishing from Supersonic
  • And a new unannounced release may be coming to mobile too

If you’re a fan of the mobile version of Autogun Heroes by Nitro Games, you might have heard whispers about the end of their partnership with Supersonic. But don’t worry, as the makers themselves, Nitro, have now taken over publishing responsibilities to ensure that Autogun Heroes continues on mobile platforms.

As per Nitro, this latest setup is poised to propel them into the subsequent phase of mobile development, with possibilities for broadening their reach to additional platforms. While specifics about these developments remain unclear, further updates and platform expansions are anticipated.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but find it intriguing that there seems to be an unannounced new release nestled within the Autogun Heroes Universe. It appears Nitro is keeping this under lock and key for now. This new publishing agreement undeniably aligns with their plans, as they aim to amplify the Autogun Heroes series, positioning it as their own distinctive franchise.

Shoot ’em up

It’s not surprising that Autogun Heroes, which follows in the footsteps of side-scrolling shooter games like Guns, Gore and Cannoli, has become a hit. Since Nitro has transitioned from using Unity to self-publishing, it appears mobile gamers are on board too, and they’re eager to make their presence known on iOS and Android platforms.

It appears that the new game from Autogun Heroes, titled “Supercharged”, is primarily planned for PC release at the moment. Let’s hope that there might also be a version developed for mobile devices, considering its target audience seems to prefer casual gaming.
