In X, BJP MP Harnath Singh Yadav posted in Hindi about the Bishnoi community being deeply upset by actions taken by Salman Khan. He explained that this community regards the blackbuck as a sacred deity, and yet Khan is reported to have hunted, prepared, and consumed it. This action has caused distress within the Bishnoi community and sparked anger towards Khan.

Over the past while, Salman Khan has been under close watch by the Lawrence Bishnoi group, due to numerous threats against his life. Recently, things have become more serious as gang members were taken into custody following a distressing event where gunshots were discharged near the actor’s home in Mumbai, raising security alerts.
On October 12th, NCP leader Baba Siddique was tragically gunned down outside his son’s MLA office in Bandra East. He was quickly transported to Lilavati Hospital, yet unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Three individuals believed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have been taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the murder. The most recent arrest was made in Pune, where Praveen Lonkar admitted to the crime via a Facebook post.
Initially, two individuals, identified as Gurmel Baljit Singh (who is also known by the name Karnail Singh) and Dharamraj Singh (also recognized as Dharamraj Rajesh Kashyap), were quickly captured in the wake of the event. The authorities suspect that Praveen may have been instrumental in persuading his brother, Shubham Lonkar, to participate in the plot, alongside Kashyap and Shivkumar Gautam.
