Babil Khan, the offspring of the esteemed actor Irrfan Khan, has now ventured into acting, continuing his father’s impressive acting lineage. Although it’s evident that his talent is inherited, Babil recently expressed that he isn’t sure where his dad’s life advice is guiding him, but stated, “I don’t want to make any plans, but I am interested in seeing what unfolds with that.

During an interview with Filmfare, Babil Khan expressed his belief that he bears a strong likeness to his father, Irrfan Khan. He pointed out that he inherited his father’s striking eyes, while also taking after his mother, Sutapa Sikdar, in terms of having her distinctive eye bags.

He pointed out that he considers himself fortunate for having the best aspects of two different worlds. Babil characterized his mother as strong, valiant, and reminiscent of a queen or a tiger, emphasizing her power. Additionally, he acknowledged that he has also gained his father’s outlook on life and the wisdom derived from his experiences.

In simpler terms, Babil shared his uncertainty about where this inheritance might take him, yet he’s eager to delve into it without setting rigid plans in place for now.

In an interview with The Lallantop, the actor who starred in Logout looked back on how, following the death of his father, Irrfan Khan, attention suddenly fell on him – a situation he admitted he hadn’t anticipated. Babil shared a poignant moment that lingered in his memory: as they transported his father’s body from the hospital to the funeral, the streets were thronged with fans, even amidst the dangers presented by Covid-19.

Many people were tearfully watching, yearning for one last look at their cherished actor. He confided that observing such sincere emotions stirred within him a strong sense of duty to repay, recognizing that it wasn’t merely his own sorrow but a widespread grief felt by countless others.

In addition, Babil clarified that as he aimed to pay tribute to his love through reminiscing shared moments, he subsequently faced allegations suggesting he exploited his father’s demise for personal gains in the acting world.
