Today marks the fifth year since the passing of the esteemed actor Irrfan Khan. On this somber occasion, his son Babil Khan, also an actor, paid tribute to his father by sharing a heartfelt post in his memory. The moving caption, paired with a deeply emotional poem, expressed his longing for his father and the hope that they might embrace once more.

April 29 saw Babil Khan posting an endearing childhood snapshot of him and his father on Instagram. In this image, the deceased actor is depicted sitting, while young Babil leans on his dad’s shoulder from behind. Both of them posed for a captivating shot, gazing into the camera, and their style was accentuated by their trendy sunglasses.

Reflecting on cherished moments, Babil penned a heartfelt tribute in honor of his father. He expressed, “In your presence, apart from you. Life continues, In my company, without me. Soon I’ll join you. In your presence, not absent. And we’ll race and soar, fly high, drink from waterfalls, hues of pink, not blue. I shall embrace you tightly, and shed tears, Then we’ll laugh, just as we once did. I long for you.
