As a dedicated gamer and avid fan of dark comedies, I can hardly contain my excitement for Apple TV+’s upcoming series “Bad Monkey.” With Vince Vaughn at the helm as the lead actor and executive producer, this show is already shaping up to be a must-watch.
Apple TV+ recently revealed the trailer for “Bad Monkey,” a new comedy series based on Carl Hiaasen’s bestselling novel. The show, which is produced by Bill Lawrence and stars Vince Vaughn, will premiere in August 2024 with the first two episodes. Vaughn plays Andrew Yancy, an ex-cop turned health inspector in the Keys who investigates a case involving a human arm found by tourists. The ensemble cast includes L. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, Meredith Hagner, Natalie Martinez, Alex Moffat, Michelle Monaghan, Ronald Peet, Jodie Turner-Smith, John Ortiz, Zach Braff, Ashley Nicole Black, Scott Glenn, and Charlotte Lawrence in her television debut. The series is developed by Bill Lawrence through Doozer Productions and executive produced by Jeff Ingold, Matt Tarses, Marcos Siega, Vaughn, and Liza Katzer. This collaboration between Apple TV+, Warner Bros. Television, and Bill Lawrence follows the success of “Shrinking” and “Ted Lasso.”
