Warning! This article contains spoilers for Weak Hero Class 2.
In the world of “Weak Hero”, Su-ho and Baku are undeniably two formidable combatants, sparking debate over who would come out on top in a hypothetical clash. At first glance, Su-ho from “Weak Hero Class 1” appeared to be a carefree student who often dozed off in class and kept his distance from school dramas. However, he proved his worth when he intervened to prevent Si-eun from going too far with one of her tormentors. Before long, Su-ho found himself drawn into Si-eun’s confrontation with some local troublemakers as well.
Despite Su-ho’s story taking a sorrowful twist when he was unfairly defeated by another student later on, he remained one of the most powerful characters in the series ‘Weak Hero’. To compensate for his departure, the sequel ‘Weak Hero Class 2’ introduced Hu-min, also known as Baku. Similar to Su-ho, Baku became Si-eun’s closest friend and partner. Since the ending of ‘Weak Hero Class 2’ hints at Su-ho’s return and suggests a possible collaboration between Baku and Su-ho in future episodes, it’s challenging not to ponder which character is stronger among the two.
Despite Su-ho’s Class 2 Return, Baku Remains The Best Fighter In Weak Hero
Su-ho Needs To Recover Before He Can Fight Again
Following the conclusion of “Weak Hero Class 1,” Su-ho spent most of “Weak Hero Class 2” in a coma. This implies that he was unable to move freely for several months until he woke up at the end of “Weak Hero Class 2.” When Si-eun encounters him in the ending of the second season, she finds him sitting in a wheelchair just outside the hospital. This scene underscores the fact that Su-ho’s muscles have dramatically weakened and he has a long journey ahead before he can regain his previous physical strength.
After his near-fatal encounter with fighting in “Weak Hero Class 1”, Su-ho might prefer to avoid any future physical conflicts. Therefore, it’s reasonable to assume that Hu-min (Baku) is the most formidable fighter in the series following the events of “Weak Hero Class 2”. If Baku had fought Su-ho at his peak, he could have emerged victorious. However, in the current storyline, Baku reigns supreme as the top fighter among the Weak Heroes, particularly since Baek-jin’s death in the post-credits scene of “Weak Hero Season 2”.
Su-ho’s MMA Background Proves He Was Once Levels Above Baku At His Peak
Su-ho Was Not Even At His Peak In Class 1
In the world of “Weak Hero Class 1,” Su-ho was widely recognized as one of the most formidable fighters, often defeating opponents who were significantly older than him effortlessly. His past in the series unveils that he was once a successful mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter before retiring from the sport. This background provides insight into why many students at his school find it challenging to inflict any harm on him during one-on-one encounters. The antagonists of “Weak Hero Class 1” aim to defeat Su-ho by recruiting an active MMA fighter to do so.
In their highly anticipated matchup, Su-ho demonstrates to the MMA fighter that his abilities, though currently inactive, are more than capable of defeating him. Despite the fighter’s unscrupulous tactics and knockout blow, Su-ho clearly showcases that he has not lost his fighting edge. This leaves one pondering just how formidable he must have been during his prime MMA days. In a flashback from Weak Hero Class 2, Baku single-handedly overpowers all the Union members, yet it seems questionable whether he could have stood a chance against Su-ho at his strongest.
Weak Hero Class 3 Can Settle The Baku Vs. Su-ho Debate
Class 2’s Ending Has Set Up Another Season
In the finale of “Weak Hero Class 2”, it mirrors the original comic’s ending, indicating that the story has run out of content from its source material. However, unexpectedly, the post-credits scene in season 2 hints at another season. Since Su-ho reappears in the closing moments of “Weak Hero Class 2”, it is expected that he will enroll in Eunjang High for a potential season 3. This would put Baku and Su-ho on the same team, potentially resolving the ongoing debate about who is the strongest through a friendly fight.

Similar to Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso from “Cobra Kai,” these characters could engage in an enjoyable rivalry that would greatly enhance the viewing experience of “Weak Hero Class 3.” However, since there’s no confirmation regarding the return of “Weak Hero” at this point, fans can continue to brainstorm and conjecture about who might emerge victorious if they were to hypothetically face off in a street fight.
